Subject: Updating elfutils-htdocs.git checkout by multiple people in group
Date: Mon, 04 Jun 2018 06:54:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20180604065400.GA7800@wildebeest.org> (raw)
Hi,
We have a simple elfutils-htdocs.git repo that has all our sourceware
project HTML files. It gets updated by a post-update hook. So whenever
something is checked in, it immediately updates our project page.
But some files are not group writable and so cannot be updated (by the
post-update hook). e.g. when I check something in now I always get
errors like the following:
remote: warning: unable to unlink coverage-0.168/libelf/gelf_newehdr.c.func.html: Permission denied
Could the files under /sourceware/www/sourceware/htdocs/elfutils
somehow be turned automatically to g+w to make it able for anybody in the
elfutils group to update the files?
Thanks,
Mark
