Subject: Turning off inactive accounts on sourceware
Date: Fri, 3 Jun 2022 12:17:09 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20220603161709.dkpdgcmagx3pj4yo@cgf.cx> (raw)
I've written a script which will "turn off" any account on sourceware
which hasn't been accessed via ssh within roughly the last year. For
"normal", e.g., git access accounts, a message will be shown which will
tell people to send email here to be reactivated. For people with
actual login accounts there will be no message. They just won't be able
to login.
Please let overseers know if this is going to cause undue hardship to
anyone.
Thanks,
cgf
