problem mailing to redhat-list

This is technically off-topic, but it's related to Red Hat
mailing lists, so I hope people can help.

I've tried 3 times to post the attached message to
redhat-list@redhat.com.  It has not shown up in the archives
or my mailbox, so it appears to be getting silently dropped.
The first time was November 26.  II once ssh'd to
sources.redhat.com, and tried posting it from there
(in case it was something wrong with my computer),
but that didn't work either.

Am I for some reason triggering an anti-spam filter?

I'm running into a rather strange problem.
I'm trying to sed mail from a script.  On RH 7.3 I pipe
the input to /usr/sbin/sendmail.  This works fine.
On RH 8.0, sendmail just hangs there.

So I tried using /bin/mail, and I get this rather strange
message:

$ /bin/mail -v -s 'test using mail' bothner@gnu.org
test
Cc:
bothner@gnu.org... Connecting to localhost.com. via relay...

and then that hangs.

Why should it be trying to connect to localhost.com?
I can see trying to connect to localhost.  Earlier, there
seemed to be a problem where localhost host resolved to
localhost.com due to "search com" being in /etc/resolve.conf,
but that is no longer the case.  (Tested using nslookup, host,
and dig, specifying the nameserver in /etc/resolve.conf,
including 127.0.0.1.)

Note I have no problem sending mail using Mozilla, where
Mozilla is configured to use the same bothner.com server.
And I have no problems piping to sendmail if I reboot to
RH 7.3.  As far as I can make them, the setups are the same,
including sendmail.mc and nameserver config files.
