Hi,

I have a strange problem: If I try to include a patch as attachment, it
simply does not appear at the
gcc-patches@gcc.gnu.org/fortran@gcc.gnu.org mailing list. It is not a
file-size problem as also 2KB emails do not get through (I also tried
gz). I also do not get any bounce emails.

Finally, I tried to send an email to
global-allow-subscribe-burnus=net-b.de@gcc.gnu.org - but without any
result (no reply, attachment emails kept dropping).

Emails without attachment go through, cf.
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/fortran/2011-11/msg00056.html

Others have similar problems; paolo.carlini@oracle.com just wrote me: "I
agree. Today I'm also having really weird problems! Grrrr"

Mail an e-mail with an attachment to yourself and see what MIME type the
attachment gets. gcc.gnu.org blocks certain MIME types. If you ensure
that the attachment is text/plain or text/x-diff, it should get through.

Hi Ian,

well, at the end all emails arrived - it took over one hour (while the
normal emails arrived within seconds).

Well, all emails were BCCed and they had the type "Content-Type:
text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed" for the text and
"Content-Type: application/x-gzip; Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64" or
"Content-Type: text/x-patch; Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit" for the
attachment.

As the emails now - arrived: have a look at
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/fortran/2011-11/msg00061.html and click "raw text".

I fixed this problem earlier today.
