Overseers,
The glibc community is streamlining release branch
management processes and we need a new mailing list
libc-stable to act as the location where stable branch
backport discussions happen.
For reference see:
https://sourceware.org/ml/libc-alpha/2014-10/msg00057.html
Could we get a libc-stable mailing list created?
Orthogonal to this, is there any way that Siddhesh or I
could get access to modify the glibc git commit hooks so
we can setup stable branch commits to go to libc-stable?
Cheers,
Carlos.

You already have access:
# ls -ald /git/glibc.git/hooks
drwxrwsr-x. 2 roland glibc 4096 Mar 17 2014 /git/glibc.git/hooks
