Date: Thu, 01 Jan 2015 20:43:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <54A5B182.2020108@gmail.com> (raw)
Hi Overseers,
I'm not sure if this is a bug because I'm not too familiar with the
standards. I didn't log it so as not to pollute bugzilla.
Happy New Year!
Thanks,
Anthony

gcc version 4.9.1 (Debian 4.9.1-19)
Description:
cc gives no -Wall warning for the snippet below, which, to me,
represents a clear control-flow logic error. The program compiles fine,
runs fine, prints "Hi!", and exits fine.

#include <stdio.h>
int f1() {
return fprintf(stdout,"Hi!\n");
puts("Unreachable statement, but no gcc warning.");
}
