Currently, all my commits to the GCC web pages look as follows:
wwwdocs/htdocs/testing% Checking in testing-boost.html;
/cvs/gcc/wwwdocs/htdocs/testing/testing-boost.html,v <-- testing-boost.html
new revision: 1.5; previous revision: 1.4
done
cvs [server aborted]: received broken pipe signal
cvs commit: saving log message in /tmp/cvsMuco9g
That is, there is this "broken pipe" error message, and the log message
is saved in /tmp, though in fact everything seems to work fine (and both
CVS and gcc.gnu.org have been updated).
I believe this is not a new one, and I have been seeing this for some
time, but now it's essentially deterministic.

I think Ian has alluded the answer IIUC: to fix the commitscript
to read all of stdin. Sorry I haven't looked into it (mainly
because I thought you were on it, then forgot!)
