Some highly customized patch-payload mailman lists can pres= erve those properties without From: rewriting, maybe. But it looks like From: rewriting was turned off for more lists than that (e.g. overseers@). This results in legitimate email being flagged/quarantined, especially harming e= mail originated from sites that made the effort to be fully email hygienic with SPF/DKIM/DMARC signatures.
