https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=31961

            Bug ID: 31961
Summary: Bogus <gcc-rust at gcc dot gnu.org> subscriptions
           Product: sourceware
           Version: unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Infrastructure
Assignee: overseers at sourceware dot org
Reporter: tschwinge at sourceware dot org
  Target Milestone: ---

Last Thursday, the <gcc-rust@gcc.gnu.org> mailing list address appears to have
been (attempted to get) subscribed to a number of mailing lists etc. that
clearly don't related to GCC/Rust. See 2024-07-04 messages on
<https://inbox.sourceware.org/gcc-rust/>. Can we just ignore these (no
messages have to be distributed, so far), or does anything need to be done?

They've been submitted to our local spamassassin filter for more likely
recognition & blocking in the future. Sorry that these got through, not sure
they can be easily removed from these archives.

No worries about the archives; my thinking re "does anything need to be done"
was whether <gcc-rust@gcc.gnu.org> again needs to (manually) be unsubscribed
from these services?

I've not received any further "weird" emails via <gcc-rust@gcc.gnu.org>, so I
suppose there are no active subscriptions.
