Hello,

As the new GDB release manager, I will need to post messages to the
gdb-announce mailing-list. I am currently subscribed as a read-only
member of this list. Is this the correct address to ask for my
priviledges to be extended to also include posting priviledges?

The emails will be coming from brobecker@adacore.com.

Thank you,

That address should now be able to send messages to gdb-announce.

Let me know if it doesn't work.

Thanks.

I just sent a message to gdb-announce, and it looks like I have been
added to something like the list of admins. When I posted the message,
I received an email asking whether I wanted to approve the message.
Answering that message allowed my initial message to get through.

I like the current setting, as it adds a way of confirming my message
before it really gets posted. But if this wasn't intended and must be
corrected, I don't mind if I'm removed to this admin list and placed
in the allowed-to-post list.

Thanks,

If it works for you, it's fine.
