I get this when I try to check out gdb:
cvs [server aborted]: head attribute does not match file for
`/cvs/src/src/gdb/ChangeLog,v'

Fixed by removing /cvs/src/src/gdb/CVS/fileattr.
The revision in fileattr was 1.5678, the revision in ChangeLog was
1.5679. Dunno what caused the problem--there are various potential
causes, the simplest being an interrupted commit.
