Since three days rsync access to gcc.gnu.org is broken.  I can get a
connection, but it times out without getting any real data.

I kicked the rsync daemon.  It seems to be better now.

Unfortunately, still doesn't fly from here.  I just tried syncing from
rsync://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-cvs, same timeout.

Same here.  It's related with the networking problem in e-mail
delivery that mgalgoci mentioned earlier.  We're looking into that.
