Subject: Overloading of methods !

Hello,
Sorry Frank, where could i find the patches ?
Anyway, i am still trying to build SID and today i
tryed on cygwin too.
I didn't build it under cygwin ( anyway), but i got
the same problems under Linux.
Well, it seems that there many classes in the
directory src/sid/main/dynamic that use methods with
wrong signature so i have to edit some .h files and
add the right signature.
I am still wondering why RedHat can't make available a
build version of SID.
Anyway, i want keep going on because i don't want give
it up in this way.
If one day i will build Sid then i have to understand
how to use it to simulate a serial port and prove to
my professor that writing some assembly code ( for ARM
i think) is possible to simulate everything.
I hope you will help me....using Sid is a good
exercise to use Linux.
Thanks.
This is MY NEW error :-) :
../../../../sid/main/dynamic/baseCfg.h:75:
void
ComponentCfg::conn_pin(ComponentCfg*,
std::basic_string<char,
std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> >,
ComponentCfg*,
std::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>,
std::allocator<char> >,
direction)
../../../../sid/main/dynamic/commonCfg.cxx:986: no
matching function for call
to `AtomicCfg::conn_pin(AtomicCfg*&, const
char[11], AtomicCfg*&, const
char[11])'
