Subject: Where to get the hardware performance information?

Hi
I have built SID and a cross toolchain of arm-elf, then I ran SID with a
toy program. But I can not get any information of the hardware--I mean
something like cycle, time or instruction counts, just as what gdb-sim
provides. I read the mannual, and found that there is no option about the
hardware performance. However, maybe it is because that I don't know any
one is the one.
Where is the hardware performance information?
Thank you for your help!
Dam Wang
