Environment: SuSE Linux version 2.4.4-4GB Tcl version 8.3 gcc version 2.95.3 I have created the following directory structure: sid-cvs/src/ sid-cvs/build I have applied the patch given in http://sources.redhat.com/ml/sid/2003-q1/msg00017.html In sid-cvs/build I do: ../src/configure --prefix=/opt/sid --exec-prefix=/opt/sid 2>&1 | tee configure.out Then I do: make all install 2>&1 | tee make.out I get the following error: checking for a BSD compatible install...
