FYI from Ximian Red Carpet updater the packet upload does not work
either.

It never hurts to poke around. Try this:

Apparently there's been some reorganization not reflected in the links on 
<http://sources.redhat.com/mirrors.html> (where the aforementioned mirror 
site/dir is given as <ftp://mirrors.rcn.net/pub/sourceware/>).
