They might be good or they might have nothing to do with reality. When it comes to a GUI, folks start to get "bad feelings" over little things like a window taking too long to redraw. Don't forget that you do have the source, you can adapt it to better suite your "feelings". When was the last time you were able to reprogram MSDev to get around something you did not like?
