First, save these commands into a file called type.tcl. % cat type.tcl entry .e pack .e % wish type.tcl (I am assuming that you have wish installed somewhere on your server) That should bring up a little entry box that you can type into. Now run the version of wish that got installed in your SN install dir. $INSTALL/bin/wish type.tcl The same entry box should appear and you should be able to type into it with no problems.
