In the current.stp test, module("*").function("*interrupt*") expands to every
function in modules and the kernel with "interrupt" in its name. I assume it
should only expand to functions in modules, correct?

In fact, what is the purpose of distinquishing between the kernel and modules
when probing a function? Under what circumstances would you want to probe a
function if it's in the kernel, but not if it's in a module (and visa versa)?
