Subject: [Bug translator/6908] New: "return" without value in "unknown" type function causes an error.
Date: Mon, 22 Sep 2008 05:02:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20080922050052.6908.mhiramat@redhat.com> (raw)
I found the following mysterious error message.
---
$ stap -e 'function func:unknown() { return }' -p2
parse error: expected 'string' or 'long'
saw: identifier 'unknown' at <input>:1:15
1 parse error(s).
Pass 1: parse failed. Try again with more '-v' (verbose) options.
---
I think no one can expect any *unknown* value...
