With systemtap 0.7.1/0.137 (that is git trunk) the following testcase crashes:

As described in the upstream bug this issue is resolved by applying the attached
patches to this bug report to the pristine elfutils 0.137 sources. They will
hopefully be integrated in a new elfutils release.
