The translator should accept either - or _ nomenclature for
kernel modules. Some portion of the kernel or the kbuild
infrastructure maps - to _ in names, so stap should do the
same.
# modprobe snd_pcm
# locate snd-pcm.ko
# stap -L 'module("snd-pcm").function("*")' # empty; should instead match
# stap -L 'module("snd_pcm").function("*")' # non-empty
