Subject: [Bug translator/12032] New: 'stap -l' doesn't report invalid syntax
Date: Fri, 17 Sep 2010 18:46:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20100917184600.12032.dsmith@redhat.com> (raw)
When looking for static user markers I made a typo:
# stap -l 'process("foo").mard("*")'
('mard' instead of 'mark').
Instead of an error, systemtap just silently exited. This is wrong - I should
have gotten a syntax error.
