Maran,
I just committed a change, ba9abf3, that might help with the
cmd_parse.exp failures. Could you pull down the latest systemtap
source, retest cmd_parse.exp, and let me know what happens? If you have
the time, multiple runs of the cmd_parse.exp testcase would be great,
since failures there (for me anyway) tended to be random.
Thanks.

Doh! I left in a debug "nop" in the asm statement that should have been
totally empty. Fix with:
commit d2b150331b61abdac65b0021299c41e79395180f
Author: Mark Wielaard <mjw@redhat.com>
Date: Tue Aug 25 14:25:43 2009 +0200
Make inlinedvars empty asm really empty.
A debug "nop" was accidentially left in the asm statement that should
have been totally empty.
* testsuite/systemtap.base/inlinedvars.c (m): Really empty asm.
Thanks,
Mark

So this is a really old toolchain (gcc 4.1?) but very recent kernel,
systemtap and elfutils.

They should at least compile :{ Could you post the relevant
testsuite/systemtap.log output for these failures?
> FAIL: K_MARKER23 was cached
This one should be fixed by a recent commit:
commit eee1205e70ce33fd3276baeafea85a77e4bca2e1
Author: Mark Wielaard <mjw@redhat.com>
Date: Mon Aug 24 17:40:12 2009 +0200
Rename cache.exp proc stap_compile to cache_compile to not conflict.
* testsuite/systemtap.base/cache.exp: Rename proc stap_compile to
cache_compile, to prevent conflict with proc stap_compile from
lib/stap_compile.exp.

Any hints in the testsuite/systemtap.log file why these are failing?
Thanks,
Mark
