Hi Mark,
My arm machine kernels don't have the UTRACE supoort either. I have the fedora 15 arm kernel (kernel-tegra-2.6.42.3-2.fc15.armv7hl) and the vanilla git tree kernel, 3.3.0-rc5+, on my machine.
