I added commits for PR11735 which I suspect are enough for most practical
cases. I'll leave this PR open though, since someone had already thought to
comment in the code that adding build-ids might be better.

Yes, I suspect this is the same. Though in your test, usymbols.exp, it's not
even probing the app in question, just using symbol data about it.

Is this related to Bug 11735 - similarly named executables/libraries get
