Subject: [Bug translator/22698] New: bpf translator: add support for array $context variables
Date: Thu, 11 Jan 2018 00:08:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-22698-6586@http.sourceware.org/bugzilla/> (raw)
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=22698
Bug ID: 22698
Summary: bpf translator: add support for array $context
variables
Product: systemtap
Version: unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: translator
Assignee: systemtap at sourceware dot org
Reporter: amerey at redhat dot com
Target Milestone: ---
Context variable arrays must be read from a data structure made available to
probes by the bpf runtime. Compared to ordinary global arrays (which are
essentially bpf maps), this will require special handling similar to a pointer
dereference.
