One of the problems that occurs is the situation where variable sized writes cause the remaining space in the buff= er returned by _stp_data_write_reserve to be smaller than the 12 bytes require= d by the struct _stp_trace header. One thought is to make sure that the _stp_data_write_reserve() provide allocations in 16 byte chunks that are are aligned so when __stp_print_flush gets to the end of a subbuffer there is r= oom to write the header. However, the __stp_print_flush code assumes that bytes_reserved returned by _stp_data_write_reserve() is <=3D size_request. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
