Hi,
I try to make systemtap work on Ubuntu Edgy (bleeding edge) based on
Debian Unstable.
systemtap installs OK but complains that there are no debuginfo
installed. How can I install them in Ubuntu/Debian? Do I *need* to
recompile the kernel or is there a simple apt-get way?

According to <http://sourceware.org/systemtap/wiki/SystemtapOnDebian>,
Debian kernels are built without debugging information, so
unfortunately, a recompile appears to be necessary. Perhaps tools
like systemtap and crash-dump analyzers will encourage a change in
debian/ubuntu policy.
