Hello all.

Having enjoyed playing Xconq 10 years ago I decided to see if I could find
it again. After an hour or two searching on the net all I found was a big
headache. So I'm throwing in the towel and asking this very popular
question(don't flame everyone at once please)....Where can I find a normal
PC msdos file to download, unpack and play?

From what I read the newest versions, which looked very impressive!, aren't
converted to msdos. I'll make do with the latest msdos version.

Thanks for any help,

Andreas B

You can find up-to-date binaries for both Windows and MacOS here:

http://w1.694.telia.com/~u69400018/

However, to play the game you need more than the binaries. Specifically,
all the library and images files as well as some tcl script files. The best
(and right now only) way to obtain these is to use WinCVS to check out the
xconq directory at sources.redhat.com. Then you just put the above binaries
in the top (xconq) directory and you are ready to go. Provided, of course,
that you have tcltk installed on your system.
