It was installed, but it doesn't provide LLVMgold.so, just a dangling
symlink:

drwxr-xr-x   93 root root 4.0K Mar  4 22:01 /usr/lib
drwxr-xr-x    2 root root 4.0K Mar  4 22:01 /usr/lib/bfd-plugins
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root root   26 Sep 11 13:40 /usr/lib/bfd-plugins/LLVMgold-16.so -> ../llvm-16/lib/LLVMgold.so
drwxr-xr-x    7 root root 4.0K Mar  4 22:02 /usr/lib/llvm-16
drwxr-xr-x    4 root root  20K Mar  4 22:02 /usr/lib/llvm-16/lib
-rw-r--r--    1 root root 2.6M Sep 11 13:40 /usr/lib/llvm-16/lib/LLVMPolly.so
-rw-r--r--    1 root root  52K Sep 11 13:40 /usr/lib/llvm-16/lib/libLTO.so.16

I am not sure that is a packaging error or that LLVMgold just isn't
supported on riscv.

Cheers,

Mark
