Hello everyone:
I am newbie in porting gas and gcc an I am attempting to do a port of an
architecture using CGEN. I want to do gas port but the manual is
lot confusing. I think I have to make an opcode port from my .cpu file and
then copy the files generated by the opcodes port to the binutils
directory and then compile them. I have various problems.
I follow the instruction in the opcodes port section of the manual but no
files are created. After running (cgen-desc.h),(cgen-desc.c).... I look in
my
directory an no new files are created. How can I create those files? Please
explain me in detail.
When I obtain those files what I have to do with them? I suposse I have to
copy them to /binutils/opcodes and them try to compile. Is this correct?
Thank you very much.
