The following package has been upgraded in the Cygwin distribution:

* units-2.18-1

The Units program converts quantities expressed in various scales to
their equivalents in other scales. The units program can handle
multiplicative scale changes as well as nonlinear conversions such as
Fahrenheit to Celsius or wire gauge. Units comes with an annotated,
extendable database defining nearly three thousand units.

This release incorporates upstream changes to build more easily under
Cygwin thanks to the upstream GNU maintainer Adrian Mariano, has new
(hopefully longer term) free sources for currency exchange rates and
metals prices, installs the updateable currency units file into
/var/lib/units/, and changes the updater units_cur script appropriately.
Users running the updater script regularly to keep the rates and prices
current may have to make corresponding changes to its invocation or
their environment.

Significant additions include:

* Added hyperbolic functions: sinh, cosh, tanh, asinh, acosh, atanh.
* Added log to arbitrary integer bases: log3, log4, log72, etc.
* Units can be redefined without a warning by adding '+' before the
  unit name in definitions.units.
* Added support for CGS electromagnetic units with unit reductions to
  combinations of sqrt(grams), sqrt(centimeters) and seconds. This
  feature is activated using the -u option or UNITS_SYSTEM environment
  variable, which you can set to gaussian, esu, or emu to select one
  of three different CGS systems.
* Added bitcoin to currency.units

Some previous updates were skipped as the rates and prices sources
became unavailable before release.

See /usr/share/doc/units/NEWS for more details.
