Hi,

I would like to take over the maintenance of tcp_wrappers package,
which is currently orphaned. I have already prepared an updated
tcp_wrappers package as follows.

builds fine.
I am not surprised on the lack of a testsuite ;-)
and I assume you tested it-

The only thing I noticed is
/usr/lib/libwrap.a

as usually the static lib is not packaged
and only the shared one is provided

/usr/lib/libwrap.dll.a

Any reason for that ?

Thank you for checking. Surely I tested tcpd with inetutils.

No special reason. I merely followed the packaging by the previous
maintainer.

Many other libraries, such as libbz2, libiconv, libintl, libreadline,
libssl, libz etc, also package both shared and static libraries.
So I don't think it matters.
