What is the repository URL you are trying to fetch from (git remote -v)

with netcdf changing from / to
ssh://cygwin@cygwin.com/git/cygwin-packages/netcdf.git
ssh://matzeri@cygwin.com/git/cygwin-packages/netcdf.git
I bypassed the problem, but I am not sure that it will work for every
other maintainer
