- You got 2 seconds older and wiser.

- Since behaviourism is right. Thinking is just a reaction to body
  function (in this case "typing").

- The flying spaghetti monster has mislead your fingers to give

I was also thrown by the fact that Andre didn't single me out and mention
that no personal offense was intended by his request. So, I was still
reeling with shock when I typed in the response.

Huh? Since when are Chicago and New York on two separate continents?
Now, granted, parts of New York may well be (the Bronx, for example,
though that's more likely a separate planet altogether), but in general
we're both in good old North America...

Indeed. :-)

So you're saying you had the same premonition I did?!? Yikes! What are the
odds that two totally separate people on totally separate continents would
think the same thing at the same time like that? Must be astronomical,
unless you believe in the paranormal and we're both able to see into the
future or something. Man oh man, now *that's* creepy!

Heh. I wish you'd done that, Igor. It probably would have given me
some perspective.

Right now I'm sitting here struggling with my stupid router trying to
find out why it won't reliably deliver email after I accidentally
unplugged it (I obviously made a change that I didn't save to EEPROM).
The last thing I really need is dealing with ad hominem content in an
otherwise civilized technical discussion.

You know, the moment I saw Hannu's message, I was about to shoot off a
quick one to CGF with something like "Don't worry, it's just the Gary
syndrome"... But then I thought: "Nah, Gary wouldn't..." Apparently,
he would. :-)
