I just calculated this value using the two (rounded) /bin/time results
(288.08 sec. vs. 101.69 sec.) Correct rounding would have resulted in
just 2.8235294117647058823529411764706 which is lesser than 2.85+. In
fact the result is more exact without rounding the ms, so the ultimate
result is approximately 2.8329235913069131674697610384502 times faster;)
