Well, it depends how high they're falling from. Just in terms of
gravitational potential energy, you're getting a lot more value-for-money
from each kilogram of hippo if it's falling off the top of a tower block
than if it's just been pushed off the edge of a coffee-table!

Of course YMMV in a reversed-gravity field or if you have a tachyon-based
hippo.

    cheers,

Actually, may I get you started?

In the UK this most common and iniquitous form of punctuation abuse has come to be known as "greengrocer's apostrophe":

    Fresh Tomato's, £1.50/kg

Or, at my local corner shop:

    Falling Hippo's - this week only! - 12p/kg

Now that's some bang for your buck.

Maybe even preferable. For the Wiki types, SpacesAreOptionalAnyway
(well, maybe not /entirely/ optional). And don't even get me started
about general misuse of quotation marks. :-)

I was actually setting out the examples for effect and was trying to use
a minimal number of words since the person was a non-English speaker.

I should have known not to get involved in this kind of thing, though.
It *ALWAYS* devolves into "I don't use two spaces" and "You made a mistake
so why are you telling me what to do" scenarios.
