It would be a FAQ but is only a temporary problem. This is fixed in the
latest snapshot and should be fixed in the next net release of the cygwin
DLL.

I'm not sure if this was in the FAQ, but
when I attempted to use the latest Cygwin build,
make complained about no targets.

It turns out that the makefile has CRLF for
line terminators, which is being misinterpreted
by make.

I've tried MOUNTing the directory using both binmode
and textmode, but it has no effect.

Is this change by design?

If I replace the CRLF with LF, then the make behaves
as expected. However, running on Windows NT, I'd
like to leave the CRLF behavior intact.

The B20 release didn't have this problem.

Also, if I use the older CYGWIN1.DLL with the new make,
I believe it works. This leads me to believe the change
was in the CYGWIN1.DLL.

Thanks.
