Hi,
I m considering running sendmail using cygwin on NT and want
to hack sendmail to run as a service. Does anyone know whether
cygwin apps can run in service mode, or if there is fundamental
reason why it wouldn't work?
Thanks,
Richard

There is also a freely available option called Invoker which performs the same task. See http://innovation.idetix.com/invoker/ for more details.

Why not just use srvany from the NT res kit, which lets you run (just about)
any program as a service?
