Hello, I am a newbie, so thanks for your patience. When I cat a file, if the
file is long it scrolls off the top of the screen. I've tried 'pg' and '| to
more' but it doesn't work. I've
looked in the man directories, but I don't see the commands listed. I
appreciate your

I had the same problem at first. I found the command though: use "less"
instead of "more". It works basically like more but it also lets you
scroll backwards, which can be useful.
