regtool

regtool

I want to use regtool to a add a new key, and after trying different
combinations I just discovered that I have to use option -v with add to
make it work. The keyword add itself doesn't work. If there any reason
to make a so strange interface?

Probably not.  Why don't you take a look at the sources and provide a fix?

I am just using cygwin and I have not yet downloaded the sources.

regtool is a great tool that allows to do anything with the registry. I
don't know if there are a lot of people using it but I have not seen any
complaint about the user interface. So I am not sure there is a need to
change something to it.

I am using this tool to add keys as well as set and unset values (e.g. relocate Outlook Express mail folder).

Please post the command line that you have a problem with.
