Hello,

I am new here, and I thought I posted this yesterday. Apparently it didn't go through.

I want to install Cygwin on a Windows machine that does not have internet access. I want to use my Mac to download everything for Cygwin, then move all the files to the Windows machine with a flash drive. How do I do this?

I assume I would then run setup.exe on the Windows machine, and it will find all the files it needs on the flash drive. If necessary, I would of course copy all the files to the Windows computer. Please note, I DO NOT want to install Cygwin on the Mac.

R Lewis

Use rsync to create a copy of the directory structure from one of
the Cygwin mirrors. You can skip the "release-legacy" and the
"unsupported" subdirectories.

Right. When you start setup, choose "Install from Local Directory".
As "Local Package Directory", enter the path to the flash drive
directory which contains the setup.ini file.
