"I'm going to try changing the ntsec setting on the CYGWIN
environment variable. I did an strace on a simple gcc compile and I see the
module and line of code that is causing the problem. Its in
fhandler_base::open which is part of cpp0. It's triggered by a Windows Error
5 which is set equal to errno 13."
this "workaround" ( unsetting CYGWIN ) "resolves" the issue for the problem
listed below. If anyone knows how to resolve the issue with CYGWIN=ntsec,
please adivse.
