Hello,

I have installed NS2 in my windows 10 64bit using cygwin. When i start the
cygwin command line, this is what am getting,

*"2 [main] bash 6568 find_fast_cwd: WARNING: Couldn't compute FAST_CWD
pointer. Please report this problem tothe public mailing list
cygwin@cygwin.com <cygwin@cygwin.com>Admin@Emmanuel ~$"*

When i run the commands "*ns $*, *ns version, nam*" i get the response
"*command
not found*".

Can you kindly help me to solve this, its very urgent please.

Emmanuel Komu

Why isn't this FAST_CWD issue in the FAQ?

Fixed in Cygwin for several releases now. Update Cygwin with the newer
version. Send an issue to your NS2 distributor to inform them they need
to upgrade the Cygwin release.

Thanks Brian, I wanted to point the user to a FAQ and noticed it wasn't
there.
