Caution about ln

I just wanted to caution the community about the following scenario:

ln tcltest Tcltest

This will have the effect of:

rm -f tcltest

hmm. i've just tried it with cygwin1.dll i use

%%% Cygwin dll major: 1001
%%% Cygwin dll minor: 1
%%% Cygwin dll epoch: 19
%%% Cygwin dll bad signal mask: 19005
%%% Cygwin dll old termios: 00005
%%% Cygwin api major: 0
%%% Cygwin api minor: 19

and it prints

ln: Tcltest: File exists

as expected.

if it's broken i latest snapshot, shouldn't it be included to cygwin's
testsuite along with "mv aaa AAA" correctness check?

Ok, I'm redfaced now.  It was the script being used by make removing the
supposed link that removed the file and not ln itself.  Thanks, for verifying
this report.
