Hi all,

I have installed cygwin 2 weeks ago...and it is just GREAT !!!
I have rxvt with a background picture ant it is very SEXY !!

... but i still have a little problem :

i have :

fo.html:To use ID3DXSprite correctly, i suggest that u make or re-edit your
own tile or sprite class. Make them use a Texture instead of a bitmap, then
use ID3DXSprite to draw.

fo.html:About a generic Blit(Texture, X, Y) function - assuming the texture
is a preloaded DX8 texture pointer, the function looks like:

and specify a format that works plus a color key value. I haven't tried this
in all possible combinations, but it should work. You can also find out
which formats are supported, and I think A8R8G8B8 is a pretty safe bet and
alpha/ColorKey friendly.
rend.html:      Make them use a Texture instead of a bitmap, then use
ID3DXSprite to

QUESTION why cant grep goto in directories ?

I have a little wrapper for recursive greps. Call it 'rgrep' and
save it to /bin. Now you should be able to call:

$ rgrep SaerchTerm

rgrep:
======
#!/usr/bin/sh
# grep $@ recursive
find . -type f -exec grep $@ {} /dev/null \;

Good point.  This works about 100 times faster:)

What do you mean by "go into directories"?  Are you saying that "grep regexp
path/to/file" doesn't work?  Or are you trying to grep recursively?  If the
latter, use:
     find path/to -type f | xargs grep regexp

or:
     grep regexp `find path/to -type f`
