Hi there,
I was trying to unzip a zip file and came across this,
https://www.wikihow.com/Remove-the-Password-from-a-Zip-File-Without-Knowing-the-Password
which showed steps to unzip. And here I encounter with John the Ripper. But
then I faced a issue which is "0 [ain] zip2john 12636 find-fast-cwd:
WARNING: Counldn't compute FAST_CWD pointer.
I have tried to Google for solution which lead me to,
https://cygwin.com/git/gitweb.cgi?p=newlib-cygwin.git;a=commitdiff;h=e5cadbfdcdd8b06932a9503b3c72511b68f03a60
and I installed Cygwin newest version. And nothing's changed. I don't know
what to do with it. I'm still stuck again. And I don't really understand
the solution I found. How do I proceed from here? This is like one small
problem leading to bigger problem. I'm so helpless.
Looking forward to hear from you soon. Thanks.
Regards,
Andy

have you looked for multiple versions of cygwin1.dll in your PC ?
Probably "John the Ripper" has a old copy of it.
