The following packages have been uploaded to the Cygwin distribution:
* file-5.41-1
* file-devel-5.41-1
* python2-magic-5.41-1
* python3-magic-5.41-1
With file you can obtain information on the file type of a specified
file. File type recognition is controlled by the file /usr/share/file/magic
which contains the classification criteria.

Shouldn't this be obsolete:

I guess file a basic utility and we can leave it around
until we really have nothing serious on python2

I can remove python2-magic, it's not in fedora anymore either.

D'oh, sorry. I just rebuilt file and didn't notice this. I'll upload a
new version which fixes that.
