The command 'setxkbmap us –variant colemak' does not work (x86 and
amd64).
Returns error message: 'Error loading new keyboard description'

This doesn't seem to be the correct syntax.
'setxkbmap us colemak' or 'setxkbmap -layout us -variant colemak' work.
